The "CHANGE ENGINE OIL" message has been displayed lately and I can't clear it. I've tried the procedure a bunch of times, but no luck. Anything else to try short of disconnecting the battery?
thnx

do you have the steering wheel controls or do you have to use the gas pedal trick?
Seems that if your throttle position switch deal wasnt telling the truck to go 100% then the change oil wont go away.

I've been doing the gas pedal trick, I'll hook up a scan tool to check the TPS voltage or %. What is the volt value for full throttle, other gas makes are around 4.5v? Same, or is it a 12 volt signal

Tried to look at the TPS value, but the hand held scannerI have won't show me that one. Any other ideas?

Try reseting it using the steering wheel controls. Go to "engine oil life" and then use the bottom right hand button to reset its value to 100%

No steering wheel controls, but after 20 tries I finally got it to clear.
