I have a 2002 f250 w/ 7.3. I had the hypertech program installed and about a month ago it stalled at a light, the next day same thing. It fires right back up with no problem. As I am driving about every other day it does the same thing but as long as I am on the gas it just stumbles or (dies and re fires) I have replaced the fuel filter and taken out the program. ANY HELP???

It sounds like you are on the road to losing a Cam Position Sensor?? But ussally when they die it's gone..easy to replace and a new one can be bought at NAPA or your dealer if you wanna pay more.. you might try changing that ..It's good to have a spare one in the truck anyway..since there so bad about just going out.. hope this helps.

The CPS's is a common failure on the 7.3's. You can get one at an International dealership for around $90 or pay Ford double and I don't know what Napa has them listed at.
The Excursions was replaced at 114K miles and the F250 is on it's original one at 164K miles. My uncle finally replaced his original one on his 97 PSD at a little over 300K miles, first thing touched on the engine.
