I searched but want to be sure. I went to Autozone to get a gatorback serpentine belt for my truck but didn't know there were several choices including alternator amp. size. Could one of you smart folks help me out? If you could give me the part number I sure would appreciate the help!
Thanks...:help:

you should have a 145 amp alternator and a vacuum pump. Based on napa site your part number will be 4061195 . Dimensions are 6 ribs by 119.5". Dimensions for a 105 amp alt is 6 ribs by 118.75". Just take a looksie at your alternator to see what it's got.

I thought these Duramax's did NOT have a vacuum pump. I am pretty sure mine does not. I had this same question when I got the Gatorback belt.
The gatorback number I have, (I am looking at the package) is: 4061175 (6PK2985). I got this at autozone.
I have a single alternator 105 amp.
Good luck

Thanks to both of you Duramax and kylant! My alternator has 105A stamped on the side, I went to Autozone and the guy said they have 3 sizes for our trucks, 117.? 118.?and 119.? can't remember the fraction on them. I told him i'd get on here again and look for another number and kylant had already posted it on here. I will give him the number you posted and hopefully that will take care of it. I have 33,000 on my truck but am getting the "chirping' belt noise so gonna replace it. Again, thanks to both of you!

i just went out and looked at mine and sure enough i don't have a vacuum pump. I know all the LB7's i work on do but never really payed attention to the lly's. I guess you will just have to pop the hood and look at your accessories and see if you have a pump.
looking over my build sheet i have a 105 amp alternator shown. I'm willing to bet "NOW" that you have a 105 amp alternator without vacuum pump.
