My G-80 rear locks in a straight line wet, dry, mud, but when I take a corner and goose it, only one wheels spins like an open diff!? My past vehicles had the limited slip type and they would spin both and fish tail around corners wet or dry. Is this normal for the G-80?

Locks in a straight line when it's dry? Wet and mud I can see, if it's slipping of course. But dry too??

When you "take a corner and goose it" how fast are you going? The G80 doesn't lock, or will unlock, for anything over 20MPH.

I noticed exactly what Jim is saying. I have a steep driveway a third of a mile long with 3 switchbacks. Top speed up my driveway is 10 MPH and the corners are really getting chewed up because of the locking differential. When I am driving down the road and take a tight corner I don't notice it at all.

I drove up to the mountains the other day, paved switchbacks, and really noticed the inside tire grabbing on the pavement.

It will only spin one wheel wet or dry going around corners and goosing it--I would bet that my wheel is spinning much faster than 20mph!
