Hey Everyone

I just got a 07 2500 hd 2wd ext cab lbz

I do alot of towing and thus far I am very impressed to say the least..

I have a 26 ft enclosed car trailer weigh's about 4640 empty and this weekend I had my 97 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 in the trailer.. I ran from phoenix az to el paso texas and for anyone who has made that pull there are some bad *** hills by benson AZ and wilcox and the truck just hummed along at 75 to 80 the whole way never missed a beat never got hot or any thing... any who I am looking at putting on a 4 inch exhaust(suggestions PLZ) and a afe stage 2 intake and a programer which is the problem because i dont see any programmers that will work with the 07's yet.... oh and i am going to order the eger blocker tomarrow... any suggestions would be great Matt

I would skip the after market air intake. It is hard to beat stock in terms of flow. It is even harder to beat it in terms of filtration.

mattsdfrmb,

The MBRP systems are hard to beat as far as quality, price and easy of install plus you get to pick the material and even if you want to go with duals if you want!!

AFE is the STANDARD for diesels no matter what brand, we always suggest the Pro Guard 7 as it filters within 1/2 of 1% (next to nothing) just like the stock paper filter. The intake will get you a quicker spool up on the turbo, more turbo whistle, lower EGT's and preps the truck for electronic mods down the road etc.

The Bully Dog Triple Dog is already working on the 2007's as far as programmers go.

Call us if you have any questions etc.
