Hi!! I broke the cover that goes around the tailgate handle can you please give me the part number??

15046512 this is number off my broken one. I took the part to the dealer and they replaced it no charge.

These have been a problem for years.

I had an '00 1500 Silverado that had that cover loose when I bought it. I thought it was normal. After it fell off in my hand I went to the dealer for a replacement. The guy at the parts counter advised me not to install it myself, rather go to the body shop and ask for a hand.
