I saw an ad in a 4x4 mag with a pic of a bowtie with a winch on the front running thru muck as part of an ad for an Eaton E-locker. Anyone know about this? Is it rear or front? I am very interested in a locker for the front as I was stuck for a day and a half two weekends ago http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Evil Smile.gif...I just bought a winch and tire deflators, Hi-lift Jack, snatch block, etc. . . . but a locker is important.

As a side question, the rear E80 - how fast does it have to spin before it locks?

Thanks for the help . . .http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

a day and a half....yikes what were you stuck in? Mucky, swamp type ground??? I once buried my 4-wheeler for like 10hrs, and mangaged to get a case 4x4 forklift stuck as well...fell down into some logging ruts and it was nothing but quick sand...couldnt even see the wheels on the quad...

The E-locker goes in the front. You can electronicly control the engagement in side the cab. MTomac runs one. The rear should auto engage, and it would be at low rpm. Super Diesel

Thanks, guys. I will investigate when I get back from vacation. FYI, I was on the Flat Tops in CO at 10,450 ft. Sitll snow drifts and the tundra was completely mucky, water table about 8 inches, and snow blizzard the second day, and to top it off, we were the only humans in a hundred sq miles on Friday eve. Worried us a bit. . .
