I prefer the Juice but I have a friend who wants a hypertech for his V-10 Fo## for something less than the $425 plus install that his dealer wants. Anyone have any thoughts?

Don't waste your time with Hypertech for the Duramax. I have one and am not that impressed with it. I had your same opinion on it at first. Why spend more? The hypertech doesn't provide as much torque, no diagnostics, and it doesn't remove the speed limiter. Just my 2 cents worth. Have a Diablo coming soon and then I'll be saving up for some tranny work.

Summit, and install it yourself. I believe Summit wants $350 for it.

If you are looking at budget boxes, you might give the superchips a try. On GM gas trucks the superchip seems to provide more power than the hypertech. Go to www.pickuptruck.com and do search. You will find a lot of info concerning the two. Current all time favorite for the gassers is Wester's custom tuned PCM's.
