Hello all, this is my first post, so if I've done any no-no's just let me know. This is my first diesel, so I've got much to learn but I think I've found the right place to get the right info. I'm from central California, getting close to retirement ,so I'm looking forward to dragging my trailer around this great country. Here's the first picture. I'll be putting Westin Nerf bars on in the morning. The wife is short and really struggles to get into cab, even though it's only stock height.

Wecome. I picked up mine 28 May 06 and have 11000 miles on it now. I was out of the country for 2 weeks so I have been driving this truck. So far milege is 18.5 empty if I keep it under 65mph hwy driving. With my camper on it I was getting 13.6,(11240# gross), 65 /70mph I-95 Forida to Maryland. So far no problems. Still love this truck!

Thanks guys for the hospitality and info. I'm sure liking those mileage numbers. I used to pull a 29 ft 5th wheel with a 454 Chevy crewcab dually and about the best mileage I could get while towing was 5 or 6 mpg. And I always felt like I was underpowered. We now have downsized to a 22 foot trailer so I'm thinking I'm going to really enjoy both the power and mileage. I installed the Westin Nerf bars today so will include another picture. Picked up a new Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller today, so will install it tomorrow.
