What can HPTuners offer to a diesel tuner that EFI does not? Why is it taking so long to get diesel software released?

Both products are top notch, but hptuners offers lower pricing, a better/less expensive licensing structure with not only vin/pcm locked licenses, but year/group lock licenses. Up to 4 vehicles can be tuned with your initial purchase of $499 or $649. Credit upgrades also allow flexibility in their licensing so your not just throwing good money at bad no less then 75% of your vin locked licenses goes toward the year/group locked license where you can tune unlimited vehicles in that year/group.

Free lifetime software updates which BTW since March 28th there have been 4 public updates with a 5th coming in a couple of weeks which will include the public duramax release...5 PUBLIC releases in 5 months is pretty darn good ;)

There really are no super secret hidden tables in either program that will set one aside from the other though. But with ~1000 operating systems supported now hptuners has you covered not only for your diesel, but maybe your weekend cruiser or wife's HHR or your son's 97 V6 camaro...whatever it is hpt probably has your needs covered.

Their parnership with superchips has made their delivery process quick & painless & with them rolling out the new website soon that in itself will bring huge changes for the better. Also with their parnership with superchips they now have an ongoing relationship with msd who owns superchips as well as many of the other companies that msd owns...the two heads are better then one mentality kicks in here.

There are alot of things in the not so distant future that will be turning heads :D

A customer base of over 4500 strong doesnt hurt either...and with 3 of their top 4 posters being the owners the answers you get much of the time comes directly from the horses mouth. BTW im in that top 4 :D not that I know everything, but when I can help I do.

Anywayz I literally could go on all night gibber gabbering but its 1am & I'd like to get some sleep for once :D

I don't see why not. We have custom operating systems for the LS1/2 vehicles.

I'll tell ya what they offer from my position- The ability to use the cable and software I already have for my other cars, on my truck. That's reason enough for me, since I wouldn't have to buy everything from scratch.
