Rear Heated Seats??

i have a crew cab with leather and i was wondering if anybody has ever seen one with heated REAR seats? i got to thinking that it would be a neat mod if somebody made a kit or could find something that would work.

any thoughts??

Should be relatively easy to do, if you could find a donor Denali or Escalade. You could probably even retrofit the center console that has the switches - which would also assist in the wiring.

I have seen quite a few aftermarket heated seat heaters for the seat and the back for less than 100 bucks. You could get those or, idk how the factory ones are mounted, glued or attached but find a wrecked truck with leather and just remove the heaters.
I have thought about that for my cloth seats.

My Saab has a rear heated seat. It's pretty nice for the mother in-law. If you find a set of donor seats, you can open them up and use a spray adhesive to attach them in your existing seats. I'm not sure about the wiring. The factory seat wiring only goes to the bottom of the seat, you would have to make your own harness that would reach a switch were you want it.

I bought this product and they work great, plus they come in many different sizes, and the install wasn't too hard.

Take a look at JP customs website, 100 bucks will do it.....easy install it seems like. type in heated seats and it should be there. Sorry for posting "non vendors" here mods but not aware of any that have this application....delete if need be... thanks

It took me about 6 hours to install the front seat heaters. The hardest part was where to install the switches and the wiring under the dash. The back seats looks much easier to remove from truck and peal off the covers. Late model gm's do not need any special tools (no hog clips). The seat cover is held on to the seat bottom by special plastic clips that are attached to the seat bottom in the creases. Be careful when taking apart (pry the clip gently open... I used a long slotted screw driver to reach under part of the cover to pry clip apart. You peel the seat apart (bottom- front to back....top-from bottom to top).
On second thought....the back seats might may not have to be removed from the truck, but the front seats are.
