Dim headlights don't work, all other lights do

Other night got in truck started and pulled out noticed headlights didn;t come on it appeared everything else did. I had to disconnect the DRL (daytime running lights) as 1 burned out years before this. Drove truck home tonight and same thing, brights work no dims. I found bulbs for DRL and they don't work also. I checked bulbs check fine. I can turn switch on and hear clicking from the headlamp relay. What else should I check.

Thanks in advance

Nate

Any idea's? Checked the fuse's for the left and right headlamps but know it is fine because pulled fuse and brights went out. Could it be the dimmer switch not working on the dims but works on the brights?

Help

When I click on my brights they come on and stay on. With the switch turned on it should by pass the sensor on the dash correct?

Well did some trouble shooting the other night and appears that the turn signal/headlight dimmer has a short in one of the yellow wires #11 that controls the dims and DRL's. Ordered a new switch and will try to get the existing one to work since it seems like a bad wire or connection.
