2007 GMC headlight removal

Anyone have info on how to remove headlights on a 2007 GMC Sierra?

The new body is much different that the old. Front end is very tight around the headlights.

If your going to change the bulbs, just remove the induction on the passenger's side. Each access there. Then remove the battery on the driver's side. Tight fit but you can get them out.

Tom, are you running HID's? And if so, did you yank the fuse for your DRL's?

Your welcome. I was going to remove my lights when I did the bulb swap but it's looked to be a pain in the butt.

Yup, I'm running DRLs but haven't pulled the fuse. I might do that to insure their long life.

someone on here made a timer to not let the headlights come on for 20 seconds or so, but I don't remember who it was.

Since you guys did the HID conversion on the headlights for the new GMC, did you also do the fog light HID setup? I know I havnt really seen any kits for converting the fogs to HIDs on the new LMMs and I wasnt sure if any companies made them or not.

My nextdoor neighbor who has an 06 E-series Mercedes did an HID conversion to his cars headlights, including the fog light HID conversion. When all the lights are on together at the same time at night, the whole HID setup looks sweeeeeet, and blinding . I think he did the 6000ks but not totally sure.

When my 08 comes in, HIDs will be one of the first mods I do. Just wondering to how you guys like the conversion.

Thanks in advance.

I love mine on my classic and would highly reccomend them to anyone. For you new body style guys, I would yank the DRL fuse first to see if that gets rid of them. I wouldnt want my HID's burning all the time.
