yeah i figure that, but as an engineer I am curious as to how this may turn out. I am skeptical about some of the issues presented in this thread.

You can make a pitman arm based off the same disign because I did it for my truck. The stock idler arm and pitman arms do not have ball joints in them they appear to be but they do not move in a in angles they are only there to spin so you do not need grease between the taper and center link. I made my arms out of 4140 pre hard and center link out of 4340 they work great maintain stock turning radius and are fully greesable
