Can't speak for their chevy boxes, but I did use them on my Mack dump truck no problems and quick turn around.

These guys are also really good. They make a lot of the steering gears for Baja trophy trucks among other race and stock applications. The owner has a Duramax as well. It's not on their web site but they also have a steering ram assist for our trucks.

I have a Red Head steering box. I went through 3 to 4 boxes before I finally found them. It's a good accurate box, something the other manufacturers couldn't produce.

I had two PSC steering boxes as well. I really liked this unit, I believe I was just unlucky with two boxes I tried from them. These guys customer service, I believe his name was Lance, was fantastic.

The gentlemen I spoke with at Red Head was equally fantastic as well. First time was the charm with Red Head.

I wish I could. I happened to be in their neck of the woods a couple months ago and bought some power steering fluid and talked to them about steering stuff. I noticed an 05 or so Dmax and asked about it. The guy said it was the owners and that he had built a steering ram for it and that kit was available for sale. I asked if I could see it but the owner was out to lunch. I didn't even ask how much because I will most likely not get it. I talked mainly about steering pump rebuilds and steering box rebuilds. They have been around for a while and like I said in my last post they do a lot or race applications as well as stock stuff. From what I remember there are even some NASCAR team and a lot of trophy truck that use their stuff. Give them a call.

I've had awesome luck with my Redhead steering gear and they have very good customer service so keep calling and I'm sure they will warranty it for you if there is an issue.

I assume this is the Redhead you are talking about, correct?

I have one and also added Tony B.'s steering brace and it is awesome. I would recommend the upgrade to any one wanting to get rid of the extra play in the steering wheel.
