Steering Noise in 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

This noise occurred after the installation of a Redhead steering gear box on our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Duramax. Any ideas on what the noise could be? The noise is a lot louder and occurs more frequently when the truck has been driven for a while.

Interesting. My '07 Classic has a steering clunk, but only when turning right or left (especially downhill) on a rough surface. Straight forward, it is very solid, even on a rough road. I have installed the hose clamp and the new (green) bearing has been installed. Hood spacers have been adjusted, etc. The noise is still there, and it seems to come from behind the dash on a line from the driver's eye to the trans temp gauge — a real loose sound. I keep thinking that it is in the wiper galley, like a loose wiper motor or wiper actuating arm. In the engine compartment and underneath, everything has been checked and sound deadening rubber hose added over brake lines, etc. I'll be interested to see what the views are on turning related noise.

I have something similar also. adamrc, can you also feel it in the steering wheel? almost kinda like a binding or feels like something is grinding in the steering somewhere? My truck has done it ever since I cranked the torsion bars and put the 285's on. P/S pump is fairly new and I've also replaced a few of the lines... suspension also feels pretty sound. I've kinda noticed it gets a LITTLE less after I grease all the joints. The whole thing kinda feels like a sensation that the steering is overloaded or something.
