C4500-c5500 fuel mileage

I'm looking to buy an 08 c4500 for towing travel trailers for my job. I am getting out of a Ford f350 dually and I get 10 mpg right now while towing. What do the c4500's get while towing. Also, does anyone know if the fold down rear bench seat is considered a sleeper? I don't want the DOT comming down on me for not staying in motels overnight.

I just returned from Florida and got 10.6 MPG round trip. This is a bone stock 2005 C4500 hauling a four horse trailer with four horses, five people, luggage and camping gear. 65 to 70 MPH.

Last year I got 12.4 MPG hauling two horses in the same rig.

Wow! That is a big camper. Very cool!

I average between 9 and 10 towing unless the wind is bolwing.
