~Max tire size on 2011 GMC Sierra 2500HD

Does anyone know what the biggest tire size that you could fit on a 2011 or 2010(assuming they are the same) GMC Sierra 2500HD that has no lift?

Someone posted pics of their 2011 Chevy with 295's on it on stock 18's. It was just leveled with stock keys and it cleared. That is all one would want though so I guess 295's is the max.

Look in the wheel + tire thread.

It looks tight. I would say around a 295 would be about all. I'll find out when mine comes in.

The 295's clear, as mentioned, but the OP never replied to let us know how much the t-bars are cranked. I'm interested in if he's now riding on the bump stops. I ordered 285/65/18's for my truck. They should be in on Monday. They're the same overall height but are .8" wider. I didn't want too tall where my speedo was way off and I had the possibility of affecting my towing ability. I will crank the t-bars some, but it won't be much.

I am guessing when you say no lift you also mean not leveled. If you have a truck with the 20's already on it you probably have 265/60/20 which is about 32.5" and from I have seen on the newer body style Chevy/Gmc that's about the max. It is crammed in the wheel wells. My 2008 had 265/70/17's and they rubbed on the fender when I got it.

You have to level the truck to go bigger, 33" is about the max unless you start cutting.

The 2011's have better clearance than the 2007-10's. The 295's that another member installed were over 34" tall without cutting...just cranking.

I installed 285/65/18" Nitto Terra Grapplers. I've just been really busy to post pics. I should have a thread up in the wheel/tire section no later than this weekend.
