LMM Heated seat problem
I have a 2010 LTZ and my drivers side heated seat works perfect. However all the sudden my passenger side will not work at all. When I turn on the seat the light will come on for one minute then turn off. I have checked the elements and that is not the problem. Anyone else ever had this issue ?

I have an 7.5 and the driver quit working. No light. No heat. IDK

I have an '06, and both of mine quit working a couple months ago. If you push the buttons, the lights come on, and then go right back out?!?! I can hear a relay or something click under the dash when the button gets pushed, but can't figure out what's going on. If any one has any ideas, I'd love to find out so the wife will quit complaining about a cold hiney!!

Do you have an ohmmeter?
Using resistance values obtained from the working elements (driver's side or the new one), what is the resistance of each passenger side element, individually, the bottom and the back? Are they the same as the driver's? Using the same meter, now set on DC volts, can you piggy back the power and ground to each element? Are they all receiving the same voltage, again, using the driver's seat as a reference? What I'm getting at is that if any element has a value outside normal, the system will shut off that whole seat. If a back element is bad, both elements in that same seat are disabled, just as you have discovered, after a given time frame.

If #33 or #5 have a out of range value (open or shorted), it will switch off the seat, after a short time frame.
 It is also possible the the wiring between the passenger seat and #20 is compromised, or that #20 itself has failed. #20 is the heated seat control module. #20 has to be programmed by the dealer, if replaced.
