LMM: Window Rattle. Please help!

So my truck's driver window rattles in the door when rolled down. If you shut the door with the window down it will make a really loud clanking sound then it rolls back up very slowly. Then when you roll it back down just an inch it will make another clank sound like the window is gonna break. That's how the window resets. So I'm thinking it comes of the track. It's been doing this for a few months now and I'm not sure if it has something to do when my truck was broken into. The thief popped my door lock with a screw driver and I wonder if just the track is broken or?

I've actually had issues with this window since day one. I took it to the dealer 3 times because it would make a screeching sound when rolling it down when the weather was cold. They kept blaming it on my tint, I re-tinted the windows and the problem still existed. Well now that problem is gone, but now it has been replaced with the rattle (possibly caused by the break in?)...


Anyways, could someone tell me what part is most likely broken and needs replaced? I'd hate to take the door panel off twice if not need be.

Looks like Im just gonna have to rip the panel off and diagnose this lol

I thought that it was well known that GM door windows will work loose and rattled after awhile , if not break a weld or rivet .
Mine is an older truck. But it's bad enough I can bearly shut the door unless the window is up. If not , the door tries to bounce open when closing it
