Broke my antenna
Went to remove my antenna before going through a carwash. Snapped off at the base. I was thinking about replacing it with an aftermarket unit that is hidden. Not sure what to look for. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

I believe that can be replaced without too much trouble. It has a connection just inside the right hand cowl under the dash cover. The ant mount and pigtail is about 20 inches long.
In other words you have to remove the dash cover to get to the connector. But the dash cover is not that hard to remove. Search for dash removal. I think the best way to repair your problem is to replace that part with an oem replacement.
