interstate batteries

anybody use interstate megatron batteries in their duramax. looking to buy new ones and need some insight. thanks

Not using them in my D-max although we have had lots of trouble with them in other vehicles. I was told by local store that they thought Interstate was just swapping old stock from store to store to make it look like they were keeping fresh batteries on the shelves. That said I have one I wired in parallel as a second battery in my old '97 that is several years old and is still working good.

really, well i am debating over spending big dollars and getting optimas, but the interstates i had in my ford worked extremel well, at least thats m opinion.

For what it is worth, I was sitting in the Doctors office last week thumbing thru a Consumer Reports. Just happened upon a section on batteries. I am an Optima fan myself, have them in all my vehicles including my hot rod. Anyway the Consumer Reports ranks Napa batteries at the top of the list but what was surprising is Delco batteries were racked about third or fourth. Keep in mind the higher up on the list the higher the cost.

we use them in every truck and tractor in our shop.( 20 ) Also in our case, massey and bobcat. oh also our gm pickups.. Not any problems with them!
