cogntio boxed control arms
Cognito now has the boxed control arms for the 01-10 trucks.
Do these have any benefits over the tubular ones? If so what

IIRC the boxed don't have the dual shock tabs, also, thought they were stronger as far as construction. As far as ball joints, don't know if they are using the same ones or something different.

First I have heard of them, thanks for the tip. I'm interested in this as I will be buying new control arms this year.

If you look at his site, at the Stage 8 UCA package in the description this is what it says.
Now shipping are Cognito Motorsports “Boxed” style UCA’s that do not have any dual shock tabs for a clean look. More than looks Cognito have designed these shocks to work directly with their special built Fox Performance Series shock to delete the need for limit straps as the shock will act as the down travel stocking point and the UCA will no longer lock out against the frame stop. Finalizing my order today.
