Looking to upgrade my steering
The steering just sucks on my truck. It is always loose. I like a tight steering wheel. Is there any upgrades I can make to tighten up the steering.
I have replaced my steering box and added cognito idler/pitman arm braces.

If it is loose still, then make sure your inner/outers are good and solid. Mine is pretty decent and still on stock idlers/pitman, no braces.

Most "Rebuilt" steering boxes are very loose. Some can be tightened up, but many have worn parts. When sitting still, engine running-- rock the steering wheel back and forth and see how much "Play" there is. Also have someone look under the truck at the different parts and watch for a part that is loose, like tie rod ends, idler arm, and etc.

flushing the power steering fluid would probably help

Always a good idea t oflush once a year. Im doing mien again tomorrow did it 4 months ago but didnt have enough fluid to get it running totally clean
