SAS swap with King Coilovers Complete

Well just finished the Solid axle swap on my 06 Duramax. Went pritty well.!! lot of little things you don't think of. If anyone is interested in having a look i will add pictures in my Garage!

Every Time i take it up the Mountain, and in a little mud!, i feel like the Front end is going to fall out of this Thing!

Ball joint problems, Even after Cognetio steering upgrades the truck still eats steering boxes!. i want to go to 37" tires, and the idea of working the truck hard with 37" tires, with just that one little upper ball joint holding all together!. naaa!

You never see logging company's using 1\2 ton, and independent front end trucks (chevys) in the Bush and on Logging roads, there is a reason for that. its just plain "Weak". Al least that's the norm in British Columbia.

all use either dodge 3\4 and 1 tons or ford 3\4 and 1 tons, both have solid front axle.

Not to mention big ifs lifts look like a giant wall underneath the front of the vehicle. A solid axle looks so much cleaner.

Seems reasonable. I don't travel in those conditions on a regular basis so I didn't see the advantage too it. I trust what your saying thou..

it looks to definately be pureperformance frame brackets and links cant see hoops well enough to say they are too, he may have just got pureperformance kit without their coilovers since theirs bring the suck, if it is the pure kit i assume used 03+ dodge 2500hd aam front axle, curious to hear what he used exactly though, if not dodge axle what axle and what was required for abs and driveshaft to work? whats the overall lift height tire size??
