difference between z85 and z71 ride height ??

hey all

I wonder why all your 4x4 trucks are all level mine is higher in the back by at least 4-5 inches

I have 2wd on mine

Are they leveled with the leveled kit ?

If so if the ride changed with the oem shocks ??

Some crank the torsion bars and that's enough to get what the want.

Some do the cognito leveling kit which is better for your front end components as far as wear and tear and crank the torsion bars.

Some (like me) do the cognito leveling kit and change to the green keys to get more lift to get it level, I cranked my bars very soon after I got the truck to fit the 285s under it and I was almost maxed out for t-bar adjustment so I knew I had to change out the keys when I did the cognito kit......some don't have to change the keys though, each truck is different.

For your truck it might take a bit to get it level, not sure if the 2wd have more of a rake to them than the 4wd but the seem like they do.

Do a search for leveling kits........lots of info on here if you didn't find it already. Or talk to Nick at NOR-CAL TRUCK he will be happy to help you out!
