Dexcool?
I’m going to replace my coolant in the truck I believe they come factory with Dexcool, correct? If so, should I replace with Dexcool or something else?
Guys are telling me Dexcool is no good??? Thanks for your time and help, P.W.

IMO dexcool is just like anything else. When it first came out everybody didn't like it and it isn't as good, bla bla bla. That said, I believe that dexcool is much better for all the aluminum parts in the system and you can't mix the two which means a 100 flush and a lot of work to get the old out. Stick with the dexcool IMO.

I switched to amsoils coolant when it came time to swap mine out.

I have Dexcool in over 100 power units (trucks, dozers, generators, excavators, UTVs, etc...) and the only, ONLY, issue ever with Dexcool was a plugged heater core on a 1998 S15 Jimmy.
