Front tires inside wear

Does anyone else have any trouble with the inside edges of the front tires wearing badly on a 3500 dually? I have replaced pretty much everything in the front end and had it aligned twice and it still wears the insides of the front tires. I've seen the alignment specs after alignment, and it's well within specs. What can be done to fix this??

Within specs? BS. If it was, you wouldn't be asking. Can we see the "in-spec" printout?

I don't have the printout anymore. It's been a while since it was done. I have had it redone once more as well at the original shop that did all the repairs (shop specializes in alignments and does everything form cars to semis). One of the biggest factors I seem to be running into is finding a new shop that can do this truck. Everyone tells me it won't fit on the rack because its a dually. I'm not really wanting to take it back to the shop that did it originally as I am still having the same issues as I had before.

Everything was changed. Ball joints, all 4 tie rods, idler and pitman arm. I spent over $1300 on it and it still wears the tires. Even the gearbox has since been changed due to leaking and play. It does have the ranch hand bumper on it, but it was there when alignment was done. Tires are 235/85R16's, so nothing out of the ordinary there either.

I'm just wondering if this is a common problem or just something out of the ordinary.

I gave up on worrying about the front tires. When they wear I replace them. There are too many ways my truck is loaded trailer, load in bed, snow plow hang off the front, salter, ect The front end most like is set for unloaded empty truck.

The only other thing I can think of is running proper air pressure. Mine have been cupping on the inside but I'm pretty sure it was due to the pitman arm. Thats why I was wondering if everything had been replaced.

Upper control arm bushings were the culprit on mine when I had the same issue.

And x2 on the BS alignment shop story they gave you trying to say everything was good. They either lied to you, or whoever was running the equipment didn't know what he was doing - my last alignment I had done when my CA bushings were shot the guy clearly told me that he couldn't get it to spec and that I would continue to have the wear problems I was experiencing.

Cupping on the inside tread only, CUPPING, is a "too much negative camber" issue, and has nothing to do with the idler or pitman arms. Or, if only on one side (driver's or passenger), then a worn out unit bearing is to be suspected.

So do they only wear the tires evenly when they are bad?

Every time I get in a GM truck with excess inside tire tread wear, only on one side, you can bet a bag of donuts that the hub bearing on that side is worn out.
