2014 Duramax Engine???

Is there supposed to be changes with the new Diesel engine/trans. I know they have release some data on the gassers, but nothing ive found about the 3/4 - 1 ton diesels. Is there nothing new to report or have they just held back letting us know all the great things they did to it till a later date. I dont think I'll be lining up for a new 14 unless they have made some very nice upgrades from the LML. I'm very happy with my 2011 LML and may keep it a little longer than I normally do.

its the same for 2014. (LML)

the "all new duramax" wont be here until 2016 I think. Thats when the next round of EPA emissions standards comes into play.

they probably arent going to change any specs. Remember the only thing the HD trucks are getting is the new body and interior. The chassis/powertrain/frame/etc is all carryover 2011+ parts.

I saw this post and wanted to reply to it, I've got a friend at the Fort Wayne, IN. Truck plant, and according to him you won't be able to do aftermarket exhausts on them, and you won't be able to tune the diesels any longer.

I saw on the news the EPA armed with assault weapons raided a local garage and confiscated diesel exhaust systems.
