We have honestly never even looked at or touched a Nictake adapter so im unable to compare the two for differences.

What I do know is that the part we sell is a simple adapter which allows you to easily replace your sub par factory filters with high quality and better filtration Cat filters.

You dont have to remove the checkball.. So less work and it still works the same.
