My 2016 Colorado C.C. 4x4 2.8 Duramax review thread

I just brought my new Colorado home today. So far im loving it. It is very comfortable and drives great. I will be keeping a close eye on fuel mileage as i Know there is a lot of interest in what these will attain. I will try to get some pics up shortly and also more reviews of the performance and driveability of the truck as time continues, i plan on keeping it all in this one thread.

Sounds good. I've been waiting for a new owner to give some real world reviews.

Very good accelleration with 369Ft. lbs of torque in a approximately 4700Lb. vehicle. It will easily light the tires up.
When you consider this little straight 4cyl diesel has about the same horsepower and just a little more torque than the old v8 6.5 turbo diesel. Plus direct injection and a much more efficient variable Vane turbo and fuel system in a midsize truck, it makes for a great platform that is super efficiente and fun to drive.
When more tune's and efi live coming on line now it will be fun to see what this baby duramax's will do.

Fuel Mileage

I have a few fuel efficiency numbers to post up!!
The first photo is my average mileage which includes approx. 50% highway, 30% county blacktops, and 20% gravel roads. 26.7mpg. average, not bad on new engine!
The second photo was a 57 mile stretch of interstate traveling at 70 mph. This average was up to 33.4mpg before i had to exit the interstate and take a few surface streets.
So far i am beyond thrilled with this truck, GM has knocked one out of the park with this platform IMHO!
