How much do injectors cost these days?

I have roughly 46k miles on my 02 and I've watched the injector threads for some time now. I think the cost of replacing all eight injectors was around $6,200 early on. How much is the going price today? I know most are being replaced under warranty, but with my luck the truck will need injectors just after my seven year coverage expires. I have used the Kennedy Mega filter since about 20k miles and I hope that will make a difference, but there are no guarantees.

When I had mine replaced (under warranty) the service manager said it would have cost close to 5g's.

You can get aftermarket ones for around $2,000, give or take a little.

I had mine done under warranty about 2 months ago but I asked the dealer what the cost would have been. He said $800 a pop and 13 hours book time labour. That adds up to $7,440.00 Canadian Funds. That's more than the whole friggin diesel option.

That is almost exactly what the invoice from the dealer said it would have been for me a week ago. $2700 in parts alone...

Yeap, I will second that. My 01 LB7 gets new injectors right now (currently at the local Chevy dealer shop). Parts alone were $2700-$2800. Another story for the labor. Thank God its covered under warranty
