If it has an engine driven vacuum pump--- it has a EGR-! No pump-- no EGR.

Those codes --if you have them, are listed in alpha order in the glove box door.

there will be an extra pulley that runs the vacuum pump- attached pics of Cali model and Non cali model

Very simple. Look in the glove box of your LB7 truck and see if you find the codes. FE9 is no cat nor EGR.

I looked in my glove compartment and did see a FE9 so thank you for answeringmy question! Guess I don't have to worry about it anymore to remove it.
