upper water pump hose

im trying to replace the upper water pump hose but the two metal tubes are too close together to slide the new hose on any ideas?

You can unbolt the one off the top of the water pump housing.

Be careful unbolting that pipe if its the one I'm thinking of. The o ring on the top loves to break. It's a pia. Trust me.
