white smoke, loss of coolant

I have a 03. Duramax that smokes. A lot. At idle. And as I take off. Also. Loses culant people. Say. Its. The. Head gaskets can it be?

take coolant tank cap off and start truck,then watch for air bubbles in tank if you see bubbles chances are good you have bad headgasket(s)

I did what you. Ask there are no. Bubbles. Can it be the injectors. I heard that. Gm. Had a recall on this truck

if you have bad injectors it would smoke at an idle but a bad injector would not make you loose coolant a balance rate check would lead you closer in the right direction for the injectors

sometimes you have to let it warm up to see bubbles in tank

the injectors was a special policy 7 years from in sevice date or 200,000 miles your truck has prob ben out of warranty for a year or so

you got to check your in sevice date if the person that bought it new started driving it before 10-10-03 chance are no, call a dealer they have strict guidelines on what a (bad injector) is also ive heard of good faith warrantys but only the dealer can tell you

the dealer ship can do a dye test to see if its the injector oring sleeve.My dealership said mine blew the headgasket and said that you have to replace the heads also because the headgasket oring leaves a indentation in the head and the head cant be resurfaced,atleast thats what they told me 6800. later
