MAF Reading 33 normal?

The MAF was passing 33gm/sec which sounds a little high, is this normal?

Thanks
Trent

my 04 book reads that the MAF display should increase from 42-50g/s ,[grams per second ] at idle to 420g/s or more at the 2-3 shift during wide open throttle acceleration. hope this helps charlie
