Check Head Gaskets

How can I check to c if my head gasket is blown? Its pressurizing the coolant system, and its holding pressure for days. Im doing injector cups in the morning and while im that far would like to check head gaskets because im not certain its a cup leaking. Whats the best way to check gaskets and what is needed. thanks in advance.

There isn't a way to tell if they are good or not without pulling the heads off, and by that time, you have to replace them anyway. I'm still doing mine. Good luck.

Yes there is! you dip the strips on the coolant and they will tell u if there is exhaust present in the coolant..

There will be exhaust in the coolant if the cups are bad, so that test will not help here. If you have lots of time on your hands and don't mind working on your truck, then do the cups first and see what happens. If you want to be sure you get it the first time do the cups and head gaskets all at once. Use some red lock tite on the cups and let that sit at least 24 hours for best results. Good luck!
