Not really. The LB7 is already set-up the right way, IIRC.

Its emission bullcrap I know I've done it. Basically the EPA is trying to shutdown the NOx gases produced by Diesels. So what better way then to route evertything back into the engine. EGR, PCV, and heck even DPF's are killing our trucks and the fuel economy. Now your Q (PCV) is Positive Crankcase Ventilation, its where the vapors or gases produced by crankcase pressures are routed back to the air intake on the compressor side of the turbo. From there a vaccum effect created by the turbo sucks the gases back into the intake track and sends them back into the engine to be reburned. Now over time that will cause a oil slug to form which could be sucked into the compressor wheel causing a major failure. That is one of the main reasons for doing a PCV reroute. The other reason is look at it this way. Think of your truck as you for a moment and picture yourself with a garden hose stuck in your butt running around a track breathing your own fumes. Now would you rather breathe your own fumes or reroute the hose away and get fresh air? Same principle goes for your truck. As for the LB7 Duramaxes they were are ready vented to the atomsphere so they don't need to be rerouted

Well would you want to breathe your own fumes or Fresh air???? Reroute it!!!! Look up Tony Burkhard on here and either get the PCV reroute kit from him or just the fittings from him and go to a local hydraulic shop and get some hose cut your choice.
