JUst used Ultra Copper and some others used the Black RTV. The pieces are real close to matched you shouldn't need the gasket. There is no way it would be able to suck anything in there with gasket maker. Besides, the gasket is probably over 10 bucks , garranteed.

i have been doing it for people and superdiesel has as well. i have been sending people modded ones and having them send me back the stock ones. if you got the tools do it, if you dont have a compressor or die grinder it not worth doing a buying them jsut for this.

I tried to do it with a Dremel tool and it would have taken me 2 weeks if I didn't have a die grinder. You definitly need something to cut it down quick.

while thats true i still wouldnt be surprised if someone came out with one. look at industrial injections "bag of parts" for you cp3, all it is is some factory parts that are ported. if your capable of removing these parts, then you should be able to port them. they charge $750 and people still buy it because they think if its done by someone else its just better, so some people would still buy it i think. as far as a gasket goes, i wouldnt wory about it. they are both nice machined surfaces, some black rtv should be fine, thats what i used.
