Estimate of cost to repair crankshaft reluctor ring

My crankshaft reluctor ring is loose and my truck won't start.
The truck has been towed to the dealer for repair, but they are closed for the weekend.

Does anyone have an idea of the cost for this repair? I don't have a clue and I don't want to be taken advantage of.

depends on how they do it. It can be done by just pulling the lower oil pan and front cover, but they may choose to pull both pans. Either way, 10 hours and up

Thanks.
Hopefully it will go smoothly.

How can this be prevented from happening again?

This can all be done without lifting the engine up for pan removal?

its the part on the crankshaft that gives the engine computer a signal as to the crankshaft's position.

I dont think the upper oil pan can be pulled with the engine in the truck?

Eric I thought you had to remove the upper pan to pull the front cover? or is that only for the rear cover?

Dealer is claiming the bolts holding the reluctor ring on sheared off and did not loosen and fall out, any thoughts on this?!!!!
Also they quoted me 2800 to fix it plus another couple hundred to inspect for damage done by the bolts.
