Another turbo mouth piece?

Hey guys I've done a bunch of searches, but can't find ones that cover all the turbo mouth piece options out there in one post.
Right now I have killerbee's IOH Kit and all that his info says is it's a Garrett approved mouth piece. Since we have had a serious falling out I'm not asking him anything.
What I want to know is what is the best option?
My tuner showed me a AFE Bladerunner and I think the blades that direct flow are rather thick. I would think they would effect flow?
I'm going to be going with a AFE CAI, so should I go with the Bladerunner too?

I would throw a lbz kodiak or lbz mouthpiece, either one is better bang for your buck than killer bee or afe.

Anything is better than what ever you would get from killerbee. I hate to tell you, but what ever money you spent on his crap that he sold you would have got more satisfaction from just burning the money. LBZ, Kodiak, AFE, all good soild pieces. AFE modelled their intake after the LBZ MP. I sold a MP to a member on the forum and talked with one of the developers at AFE when they originally were making the MP for our trucks. Any which way you go, its an improvement over stock.

There's nothing wrong with the bladerunner... except the price. Get the Kodiak and be done with it. It flows so close to the LBZ as to be indistinguishable, it eliminates the resonator without clamps or any other thing, and it is cheap.

If you are getting a CAI for the LLY might as well get the Bladerunner if you don't want to modify the new tube you just spent $$ on. Kodiak will fit (sort of) with no modification (the few I have seen installed look rigged). Personally I would get the LBZ as long as you dont mind doing a little cutting.

or if you buy a LBZ intake and have MAF tuned buy the LBZ and it will be factory fit.

I would invite you to take a look at mine... neither rigged nor hastily pieced together:

Kodiak mouthpiece, RickDLance induction tubes (you can buy the parts off the shelf and make your own, I believe), and stock airbox w/TxC CAI with inner fender protection removed. Let's say I flow a LOT of air...

I was saying rigged if you were attaching to stock pipes with no cuting or a CAI made for an LLY. Yours looks great, but it's far from stock.
p.s. how big are those elbows and pipe? Did you have to rescale the MAF?

4" ID from the airbox to the mouth of the mouthpiece. And no, there was no rescaling required.

Does she scream with the metal pipe or do the silicone elbows keep it quiet?

How about IAT? My temps are usually a few above ambient as long as I am moving but in traffic and slow speeds they warm up quick. Probably due to heat soak under the hood. I've always wondered if a metal tube and silicone couplers would keep out the heat better than the stock plastic intake.
