threw code dtc 0700

it is a 04 lb7 with 50,000 miles on it is there any particular reason why i threw this code??
p0700(transmission control system (mil request) not sure what that code means...
I have the PPE hot excelerator i currently have it in stage two. PPE said the stock tranny would be alble to hold the second stage. I am getting the tranny kit installed later this week is there something elsewrong with it though?

You "limped" your trans. Is the PPE the first tuner you've used?

Anyhow, if you remove the tuner, and drive normally, you will get thousands of miles of use out of your existing transmission. If you continue to run tuners on it, it will eventually happen again and again.

Actually that code will set for anything that may have set a code in the trans computer. Need to pull the code from the trans computer.

It will be getting a stage 4 tranny kit by the end of the week just wondering if it was just a miss hap or something major.

I tought the PPE offered a allison re learn program so that it would be able to handle the extra ponies.

How high can a person crank there trucks up and be able to handle the extra power for the tranny??
