I already tried the ice pick technique for injectors #2 and #7 and the knocking stopped until I drove the truck a short distance. The same codes are displayed before and after the ice pick tech. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem. I'm broke down at Napa.

Fill out your signature like you see in other posts so all can see what you have.

I'll bet you have a bad electrical connection/s on one or more of the listed cylinders. Or, maybe a break in the harness -- although I think they a very tough.

You have an electric problem with one or more of injectors 1, 4, 6, 7. So the FICM has shut down those cylinders and is in limp on the other four -- 2,3,5,8. And your truck, I'll bet, is knocking like crazy.

The FICM is seeing a problem with the fuel injection circuit for cylinders 1, 4, 6, or 7, so you get DTCs P0201, P0204, P0206, P0207 and DTC P2146.

I'd clean or ice pick those connectors and check the harness for problems very carefully.

Or get a new harness -- how many miles on the truck.

Has the 'other' harness repair been done? The rub-thru problem by the FICM?

Good point, check the wire bundle that runs over the FICM bracket just outboard of the alternator.

i went back the next day to my truck and called my local gm service dept. they told me to check for grounded wires comming from fuel injector control box, so i did and found on the very first wire tie on the cluster of wires it had viberated a hole in the bottom wire went in napa and bought some tape and taped it up. the total cost of repair was 1.29
