Does LLY have same injector problem as LB7?

I've been looking on this forum at high milage LLY. Most of them have had injectors replaced. Is it still as common of a problem as the LB7? I want to buy a LLY but not if it not much better then a LB7.

They do not have the problem with injectors like the LB7's do.

You should watch out for blown head gaskets due to overheating issues with a stock LLy.

just like sparkplugs, consumable item. injectors in 6.5/6.2 maintenance schedules them for 100,000miles, consider the injector pilot/main duty cycles and operating pressure being about 15X higher.

if you solve the overheating problem you should be fine on blowing head gaskets right by putting the mouthpiece and aftermarket intake it should solve a little of the overheating problem or do u have to do more

search overheat, they seem to help with lose of power that engine puts more load on itself, but gm changed radiator and other cooling stack parts. lot of reading.

I hope $3k worth of injectors every 100K miles isn't considered consumables like spark plugs.

Unfortunately, for the LB7 they are. Kinda sucks. But no such problem with the LLY.
