Its going to be difficult because the steering control module needs to see a Class 2 (not gmlan) message that the engine is running, and that a VSS is present.

Thanks for the cool videos! I cannot wait to drive this thing!

After looking at offset and clearances in the video, I don’t think the stock wheel/tire combo is going to work. It would probably be good to reduce the tire diameter by an inch and increase the offset to counter some of the extra five inches of track width added by the Qsteer axle. After crunching the numbers, I believe the offset can be increased by 1.28 inch. This is exactly seven inches backspace on an eight-inch wheel that Budnik makes in the “Fat Lip” profile. This should set a LT245/70R17 tire inside the fender by about 3/4 inch while still leaving the minimum stock inside clearance. What do you think?

Lets take some measurements and I'll see how much room we have to work with. Diameter isn't an issue though.

Hey Ben, yea you're right. the health status and communication could be an impossibly, we have the Sub here now and PapaSkunk's Denali torn down now so I was going to long distance wire his system to the Sub in the bay next door.
