The smell of burning rubber???
when i exit the truck after a drive(distance or speed not a factor) i get the smell of burnig rubber. not everytime, just once in a while. i was told it could be the exhaust hanger bushings. it's no big deal, i am just curious if anyone else has the same issue and what you think it may be. the truck has 9400 miles on it so i thought by now it would stop.

Its assoc with regens. Common on LMMs too. Mine does it if I stop driving during or just after regen

I'm with greif03lb7. I think that smell will go away of you don't press so hard on the accelerator pedal.
