Random timing loss.. Help!

So, i woke up this morning and fired the truck up. For the first 10 seconds of run time, it sounded normal, then all of a sudden the truck got nearly silent, sounding like a gas engine, and started pouring white smoke. The two video's below will explain just about everything you need to know about the situation.

I would much appreciate it if you can watch them, and give me some pointers. It is imperative that i get this thing running by tomorrow .. which is why im hoping and preying its a simple crank sensor or something along those lines.

Watch pt 1 first! Labeled them backward.

Interesting update. Ran it around the block a few times, engine much quieter than usual, it did seem as if it was retarded (obviously) cause it had less power than usual. However, it was running okay and the smoke had dissipated. I decided to try and take a video.. Lol, as i go to hit the record button, the truck shuts off as if its a failing PMD. This PMD is 3 months old, been mounted on a heat sink behind the bumper its whole life .. MAYBE 3k miles on it. Well, it hesitated to start after shutting down, but once it fired back up .. it was back to its old self again. Louder, powerful, less smokey, as it was in the beginning. Drove it about 20 miles and nothing changed. Now im fooled this IS going to happen again .. so we need to hunt this crap down.

I'm not up to snuff on the electronic motors but I don't think you can get the right readings until the temps are above 170*, and I could be wrong but if you unplug the crank sensor you should do the KOKO to reset the pump timing and go from there with the tuning.

It might be the vid but there sounds like a knock in the vid..

Not familiar with the 'KOKO". I'll do some research .. Definitely no knock, im recording on a 4 year old android phone running 1.2.x. I'm very anal on hearing things, and would recognize it. Plus, this engine was assembled with zero corners cut, and theres only ~400 miles on it. Well, minus using old sensors but hey what the hell!

Thank you for verifying that.

Well, again, i ran it another 10 miles. No hickups, no timing loss, it IS running a bit rough but im sure the TDCO got screwed up as i was messing with .. other than that, i dont understand how this decided to happen out of no where. ANY ideas appreciated.

P.S. .. now that i listen to the second video, i can hear a knock but its definitely the video. I think the crap mic is picking up the sound of the straight pipe in the back ground. Just try to ignore.

Random timing loss.. Help!

So you said in your video that it won't run without the crank sensor plugged in?
It should run off the optical sensor with extended crank time.....do you have the filter harness on the optical sensor

No, the filter is not plugged in. Its somewhere about 120 miles from me, but it has been doing fine without it. How much extended crank time? I was only cranking it for the typical 3-5 seconds with the crank sensor unplugged, and it not starting. Should i go for 10-15 seconds without the crank sensor? Even if i decide to do this, all it will be telling me is that the optical sensor is good or bad right?
