Longest Lasting 6.5 Turbo Diesel
Hey Guys,
I am wondering what or Who is or has the longest lasting 6.5TD? Lets hear what you guys have My 94 is only at 380`000k so hopefully there more life in her yet

372000km and slowly dieing

300,000 K is only 186,411 miles. 380,000 KM is 236,000 so that is a good start.
My truck has 305,000 (491,000 K)at this point. I bought it from the 3rd owner who knew the first two and supposedly only major work that has been done is the T case.

I have 265k miles. No noticable blowby. Original engine according to the PO.

Mine does about a quart (1 liter) of oil in 1500 miles (2400k). I always have oil dripping off the bottom of the turbo and oozing out various places on the intake. Smokes pretty good if you pull the oil cap off when its running so I am not expecting it to go another 100,000.

I'm continuously adding upgrades to mine. I hope the bottom end sticks together a little longer... It's hard to tell if anything is going wrong since the diesel rattles anyway. No prediction allowed...LOL

360k miles and show's lots of wear. Blow by, typical smoking, burns oil, etc. Still runs and pulls daily. I will run it into the ground before replacing it tho.

I'm just hitting 420000k and still runs great and has only two injection pumps and two sets of injectors and three sets of glows
