a buddy of mine has a 97 Chev K3500 with just over 300`000K and its been though 3 transmissions already lol, other that that is all stock

So its looking like the Canadian 6.5 either don't last as long or that they don't drive as far?

Same problem in my area. There are times there is more salt on the roads than snow.

My 1999 suburban has 580.000 everything on engine original except starter replaced once. And still no blow by. Uses a litre of oil every 4500.

So thats 360,000 miles and about 3,000. Quart and liter are close enough to call them the same as long as you are only talking about a few.

My Tahoe is just under 500k km and shows a bit of blow by but nothing that concerns me yet. Uses about 1.5 liters of oil between oil changes. I would imagine that in a Tahoe is where you will fine the highest mile unit, a lot less towing.
