Ah, so the hydraulic store had metric o-ring fittings. What did ya buy- fitting to adapt the stock fuel line to a hose barb? Mind if I ask what it cost in your neck of the woods. I might venture into my local place and get some.

You can get the Metric oring fittings from Summit. Russel makes them but i would not go to brb. I would use a Metric oring to JIC then use JIC -6anpushlok. Pushlok is way better hose.

True. I like using JIC myself. I have a older hydraulic equipment that still use the PIPE thread. If I have the room, I tend to install a pipe to JIC adapter on the cylinder and leave it. That way, I don't have to disturb the pipe thread. I try to change pipe (actual metal pipe) over to hose in some areas also.
